Butcherblock
Furniture By Dean
Northern Red Oak
In
1982, Donald Dean & Sons, Inc instituted research, development and
design of Oak Butcher Block Furniture, catering to the needs of the
Unfinished Furniture Industry.
In June 1984 at
the Unfinished Furniture Show in Atlantic City, NJ, Oak Butcher Block
tables were introduced. The acceptance was tremendous and prompted us
to expand the furniture division to include benches, counter bars and
stools.
A
few of the operational techniques Donald Dean & Sons, Inc utilizes
that make our furniture a superior product are the use of continuous
strips as opposed to finger joints for our table tops; pedestals are
dovetailed and tenoned and other bases are mortised, tapered and bullnosed
for added stability. This attention to detail results in a well-constructed
finished product.
Our
line currently consists of dining height trestle tables with 3, 5 or
7 inch pedestals; square stools that come with or without a back, and
are available in 3 heights; benches in both table and counter heights
that are also available with or without a back; and of course our most
popular item being the counter bar table available in a single or a
double post. The double post counter bar offers a shelf below than can
store our square stools offering a unique space saving feature.
All furniture is
available unfinished only and shipped KD freight class 55 cartoned and
palletized.
